Rex Hospital Open Exemption

The Rex Hospital Open and GProTour in association with Ablemarle Plantation and Biggs Cadillac Buick GMC  are pleased to announce that the winner of this years Biggs Classic will receive an unrestricted exemption into the Rex Hospital Open, part of the PGA TOUR’s Web.com Tour, May 27 – June 2, 2019 at TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh.   • 54 hole event | 36 hole cut to the low 33.33% and ties

144 Player | Limited Field

This event will be limited to 144 professionals:

Members Receive Priority Entry for this event. Players must compete in the main event if they participate in the pro-am.

Wait List: 

Once we have reached 144 players a wait list will be established. Players will be entered into the tournament on a “one-out-one-in” format based on a players entry number and format below:

Entry Deadline: Monday May 14th 11:59pm (members will have priority pro-am registration until the 14th, after that will will allocate players based on entry order)

Monday May 20th Pro-am

  • 22 Professionals
  • 1:00pm Shotgun start
  • Free event entry ($850 value) will be up for grabs to the low scoring professional from each wave. Winning players will receive their prize via refund of their entry fee.
  • First 22 players to register will receive entry into a pro-am with a $100 cash participation fee. Fee will be paid in cash on Monday. 

 

Tuesday May 21st Pro-am

  • 22 Professionals
  • 1:00pm Shotgun start
  • Free event entry ($850 value) will be up for grabs to the low scoring professional from each wave. Winning players will receive their prize via refund of their entry fee.
  • First 22 players to register will receive entry into a pro-am with a $100 cash participation fee. Fee will be paid in cash on Tuesday 

 

Wednesday May 22nd Sound Golf Links Shootout

  • Begins at 2:00pm from #10 tee
  • Top 8 professionals from 2019 GProTour money list will be offered a spot
    • should we not acquire the top 8 we will go down the money list to fulfill 8 players.

Host Housing

Host housing will be available on a first come first served basis. Players need to reach out to Rosemary Smith at waltrow64@gmail.com or 252-562-2427, once registered for the event. Players will not be given host housing unless they have registered prior. 

Players should provide Rosemary with the following information:

      • Final round – Single tee start (twosomes)

Walking Event | Caddy Information

  • Players may have a caddy at any event.
  • Caddies must adhere to all rules that are set forth for the event and player.
